A great place to go for lunch. They make some of the best sandwiches and pies out there. Their patio is cool and covered. When you are ready to leave, be sure to get some fresh vegetables, some super fresh bread, and of course, don’t forget the pie.

Soda Rock

It is a very nice hike up the hill and the view of the valley is spectacular. Also a great area to do some star gazing.

First Nations Rock Paintings and Petroglyphs

Near the south-east end of Crown Lake. Totally amazing to see them and think of the history.

Hat Creek Ranch

Located at the intersection of Hwy 99 and Hwy 97. A great historic site with a nice restaurant and gift shop. The site itself is an awesome exploration into the old west and the Gold Rush era.

Desert Hills Taco Stand

Looking for some amazing Taco’s. You can find them at the Cache Creek location of Desert Hills Farm Market. It is located just north of Cache Creek at 2520 Hwy 97. There is, as of August 12th, no signage at the actual location of the stand so you could easily drive past it. Look for the Desert Hills Farm Market signage. That is were the taco stand is located.
